Nursery is Room 205
(Sanctuary Level, East Wing)
Childcare is available 8:30 am - 12:15 pm Sunday mornings for infants and through four year olds. Parent pagers are provided. Nursery care is made available for other church events by calling the office and making a request at least 24 hours before the event.
A Class Just for Preschoolers
Upper Level, East Wing
Start the Sunday School experience with this class designed especially for preschoolers. Caring teachers provide an environment where active minds can explore religious lessons through play.
"Godly Play"
Pre-K and Kindergarten
Upper Level, East Wing
Godly Play is a Sunday School class designed for children Pre-K and Kindergarten. They learn and practice the meaning of God's word through Montessori based learning centers.
"Junior Circuit Riders"
Grades 1, 2, & 3
Upper Level, East Wing
Children will explore the Bible and learn age appropriate lessons through the use of Art, Bible Games, Cooking, Computer, Drama, Music, Storytelling, Science and Worship.
NEW Class: Asbury TWEENs
Grades 4, 5, & 6
Room 155
(Lower Level, West Wing)
"Tweens" are going through lots of changes and are eager to fit in with their peer group. This class gives them some guidance from adults.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is always a big hit with the kids — four evenings of valuable learning and summertime FUN!
For 2008, children 3 years old thru 3rd grade rode the wave of God’s love at Beach Party: Surfin’ Through the Scriptures.
Camp Chippewa
Information about and registration forms for children’s camping opportunities at Camp Chippewa, the Kansas East Conference campgrounds just south of
Ottawa, are available in the spring.

Recent Special Event:
Children's Bible Retreat
Children in grades 3+ participated in a "Retreat" where they learned about the books of the Bible and how to look-up specific passages.
Through games and scripture reading the children experienced how special it is to be Christian and that the Bible is indeed a gift from God!
One of the activities for the last retreat was making "scripture cookies."
