QUESTIONS?  Here's some FAQ'S:

WHAT is it? The Experience a-latte Worship Event. Asbury explores new worship style by doing a "coffeehouse" worship in our Music Seminar Room.  Free gourmet coffee, desserts, conversations.

WHO is supposed to come?
If you're new to the area, or just new to Asbury, then come on down for conversation, prayer, and find new friends!  Service will include sacred and secular songs by our guest Jazz artists, prayer/meditation time, drama, video, readings, and a more casual, interactive sermon style led by our Pastor Steve Langhofer.
(Current Church Members are are encouraged to bring a non-Asbury guest.)

WHEN is it? Our New Worship Team is meeting next month to plan our next  "EXPERIENCE"! STAY TUNED!

WHY are we doing this? Christ calls us to find ways to help make disciples who make disciples. This one evening, we’ll try out something unique.  A service style that may be attractive to new visitors.

WHERE? MUSIC SEMINAR ROOM (ENTER NORTHWEST CORNER NEAR NALL STREET)

Thanks for Participating! The New Worship Study Team will be working on another Service to take Place During Advent 2009…

Applaud trying something new. Like live music. Hard to track where speakers are, what's coming next. Ste up a little clonky, but will smooth our as we go forward.

YEAH! I shows ther are may people at Asbury who are not afraid of trying something new.

Fun Morning.

This was freat and so relaxing. No clock watching today!!

It's different.

A very different and exciting bandwidth. Well done!

I like Martin and Cynthia in the drama! Can we have them everytime!!? I like the discussion groups!!

Wonderful! Akward to be so responsible for the experience. I'm sure I can ger better with practice.

What a Joy!

Liked the service. What can I do to help the Church from using styrofoam cups and plastic eare? Who do I talk to?

A unique experience!

The informality of the service is enjoyable.

Could not always hear. People walking around was distracting. I felt uncomfortable. Interesting service.

Liked the format. Easy to enjoy and a different , unique way to get closer to God and congregation.

I actually enjoyed it and hope my neighbors do come to the second service

Not enough time to share following each meditation. The 2nd was especially "heavy" and took thinking time.

I love the service. Please do this every Sunday at least for one of the services.

I'm glad I came, we'll see how it goes.

Vizualization was really special for prayer. Iwould like a service in the sanctuary that was a combination of contemporary music and service once a month with combined 8:50 and 11:00 to (1 service) start with.

Interesting! I enjoyed it for a change. BRAVO! Once a month?

Change…it's kinda like death - I don't like it - but it's comin'.

This is a neat service.

Cool!!! Do it again!

Great performances. Cookies are good. I like it. It is'nt like church as I know it.

The Christmas lights were a little bizzare. Music is great.

Interesting format.

Very helpful with interaction of discussion. We were late, but enjoyed Amazing Grace and hospitality!

What a great service for families with kids! Much easier to keep an antsy kid busy. I also love the interaction with everyone.

Really liked this service.

Excellent Service. Brings us up to date.

The future looks BRIGHT!

We should have this kind of worship often.

Really good experience.

The service was different, but I really enjoyed it.

Great new concept. Iloved this service!

This was fun!

Very interesting. Nice to try new things. I would like more time for meditation & visualizations. Liked the skit and video.

This type of service would be an alternative to some, but I hope it doesn't replace the regular service.

There were parts I enjoyed. I hope it is good for Asbury.

I really enjoyed today.

Being an older person (90 yrs.), I like worship services as they are now presented. However, I believe that I would soon become accustomed to the new service.

Great service, thanks and praise.

LOVE this service!

Yeah! Love the Service!! Awsome.

Arianna loves this new casual service.

The transitions need to be smoother. More time for discussions. Maybe not try to do so much in the hour.

The "talks" put the kind of meaning into the service we need.

LOVE the music! Not a huge fan of meeting in Hager Hall, though. The drama was excellent - would love to have this in our services more often.

I love this. Thank you for trying something new and different.

So far- so good!!

Awesome Service! Do it again.

Thanks, to the Worship Committee.

Kennady & Kelsey really enjoyed this service, as did I. I am more traditional, but this was incredible.

Thank you to the Worship committee.

First time visitors, moved to the area last year.

I loved this experience.

Wouldn’t this be an interesting Wednesday evening service?

Meditation Notes:
I wouldn't like this service every Sunday, but it's fun and interesting periodically. I still like the traditional! I'm along for the ride! Thanks for making me try!

I liked the "It's not that hard" messge. How do we know the Lord - it's here to express in words so actions are good.

We need a coffee house where people can meet and read, visit, listen to music. It should have meeting rooms, a coffee bar, reading material, table games. Maybe a counselor.
