Weddings @ Asbury UMC
We Welcome both Member & Non-Member Weddings
here at Asbury United Methodist Church!
We offer weddings in the sanctuary (up to 525 persons)
or the Chapel (up to 65 persons)
It is our desire to work closely with you to plan
a meaningful service.
We have listed here a few building details and
a fee schedule.
Unfortunately we are not able to accomodate receptions.

Sanctuary Capacity 525 persons
Number of Pews: 25 on each side (total 50)
Length of Aisle: 80 feet
Size of Chancel (wood) area: 320 square feet
Number of Church Windows: 8 (10 feet tall, 6 feet wide)
Chapel Capacity 65 persons
Number of Pews: 8 on each side (16 total)
Length of aisle: 28 feet
Altar Size: 2'x4'

Fees include:
$ 200.00 refundable damage deposit
Marriage Preparation Workshop
Pastor fee
Organist fee (required, even if organist is not used)

Wedding in Sanctuary for active Asbury Members $ 805.00
Wedding in Sanctuary for Inactive/non-members $ 1255.00
Chapel Weddings for active Asbury Members $ 605.00
Chapel Weddings for Inactive/non-members $ 955.00

Candelabra $ 30.00
Hurricane Candles $ 30.00
Candelabra & Hurricanes $ 50.00
Audio Technician (required for any pre-recorded audio played before/during/after service) $ 85.00
Audio+Video Technician $ 165.00 (3 copies of wedding filmed from Asbury's 4 camera Sanctuary Video System included).
Nursery Care $ 50.00 (2 hours)
Vocalists (negotiated independently)
