Join us to celebrate the miracle of Easter at Asbury!

This Easter, we hope you can join us as we experience the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus through song, prayer, and reflection. We're offering several different events that will each give a unique experience of Easter week:

Maundy Thursday Service: Thursday, March 28 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Join us as we commemorate the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified. In contrast to the joy of Easter morning when we worship our risen Savior, the Maundy Thursday service is solemn, marked by the shadow of Jesus' betrayal.

Good Friday Stations Walkthrough:  Friday, March 29 from 4-7 pm in the Sanctuary.  Prayerful meditation through the Stations of the Cross is especially common during Lent, in commemoration of Christ's crucifixion on Good Friday.

Good Friday Service
: Friday, March 29 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary.
Good Friday, or Holy Friday as most of the rest of the world calls it in their languages, proclaims God's purpose of loving and redeeming the world even in the face of human rejection and cruelty through the cross of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a day that is holy and makes us holy because God was drawing the world to God's self in Christ.

Easter Sunday Services: Sunday, March 31. We welcome you to join us for a youth-led Sunrise Service at 7 am in Hager Hall, or Easter worship at 9 or 11 am in the Sanctuary, to celebrate the triumph of Jesus over death and loss, and the hope that comes from a new beginning.
