Christmas Giving Opportunities
'Tis the season for giving!
Giving feels so good - especially when we are able to help out our neighbors who have less. Check out several holiday giving opportunities that our Mission Team & United Women in Faith are supporting this year!
Red Bags for Foster Kids
If you have not signed up to "adopt" a child for the holidays, there is still time! You will be given a child's wish list and sizes and from that you select and wrap 8-10 gifts to fill a large Red Bag. These bags can be brought to Asbury anytime from now until 9:30 am at the latest on Saturday, December 3. Please contact Donetta Shaner ( ) for more information!
There is a snowman in the narthex, and he's very COLD and he wants HUGS. Will you help him stay warm by bringing him some Hats, Underwear, Gloves, and Socks? You can hang them on him (like ornaments!) anytime between now and December 12. Whatever our snowman gets he will share with our friends at Lazarus Ministries to help others who are in need. If you would rather make a monetary donation, please make a check out to Asbury United Women in Faith and put HUGS on the memo line. Thank you, everyone!
Later on this week, you will be able to click on an online link (TBA) to sign up to purchase gifts for children at our local school, Santa Fe Trail. You can add your name one time or several! The gifts can then be brought to Asbury on or before Sunday, December 4 and put in the marked area in the Welcome Center. Gifts are to be unwrapped as the families will be given wrapping supplies.
Gifts can also be dropped off at Nall Avenue Baptist Church, 6701 Nall Avenue, on Wednesday, December 7 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Thank you for your generosity!
